    can it be used to put a 350 chevy marine engine from the dock onto a boat?

    1. We do not recommend mounting this to a wooden boat dock.

    2. This unit is inteded for truck bed installation and contains a 1,000 lb. capacity. Utilizing this product for a different use should only be done so under the discretion of the user.

  3. Can the main unit be removed from the base unit when not in use?

    I would use a crane hoist like this on occasions but would like to be able to remove and store when not in use.

    1. the unit bolts down so in theory yes
      i will be installing mine with the recieveing nuts welded to a plate under the bed of my truck thus allowing the complete unit to be removed when not needed.

    1. The product is intended for truck installation. You can install to a concrete floor by using 5/8”dia. X 8” long j-anchors.

    1. The minimum swing radius would be 0 degrees and the maximum would be 360 degrees.

  7. Good Morning Can I get some more information about this jack? 1.0 Height of the elbow on the crane from the floor. 2.0 Does this crane have the winch with a clutch?

    1. The height from the floor to the elbow is 48 inches. The winch does not have a clutch.

  8. Can the hand pump be replaced with a powered hydraulic cylinder?

    1. Replacing the existing cylinder may affect the cranes range of motion and weight ratings. Custom modifications done to this unit would void the warranty and is not recommended.
