  1. Why is the vestil steel pail not recommended for water?  I want to use it to carry rain water from my cistern to some plants for watering.  Would it damage the plants or leak?

    1. Water could cause some of the inside coating to come off.

    1. The pail does not include a lid. Northern Tool does offer item #4871090 (Vestil Model #LID-STL) for a matching lid.
