Product Summary

The dock chain barrier system creates a safe environment for both personnel and products. The steel constructed double chain adds extra security for door up to 10ft. Unit is designed with a bolt on chain hook-up enabling quick installation or removal. The chain can be cut to a specific size upon request. The barrier system includes (2) two bollards, (2) 127in. long chains and (1) one bollard conversion kit. The conversion kit includes four (4) bollard mounting brackets, (16) self tapping sixteen screws, (1) post unfoldment bracket, and (4) four quick links.

  1. Hello, how much is the safety chain rated for? In otherwords, are these materials OSHA (General industry standard) compliant?

    1. The dock chain bollard barrier is rated for 250 pounds. It is not OSHA rated. It is rated for a personnel barrier, not for commercial use.

  2. How long is the section of chain per order? Can I get 40' sections?

    1. The dock chain barrier comes with two 127" long chains. Additional chain would be available through the manufacturer.

  3. Can you tell me if I have a 20 foot long dock and use two sets of these 10 footers does this meet OSHA requirements with the two chain heights 21" and 39" i don't want to spend the funds if it does not cover the requirements of OSHA
