    1. There is an anchor point at every post on this carport. These anchor points are pre-drilled holes that are 4 feet apart from one another center to center.

  2. How much snow will the roof handle ?

    Will securing the post / base to 4x8s help to secure from
    wind ?

    1. The VersaTube Steel Shelter, as is, will handle up to 20 lbs per square foot. The manufacturer (Versatube Building Systems) does, however, offer 2 truss bracing kits that raise that up to 30(type 2) or 45(type 3) lbs per square foot. In Massachusetts, you would require at least type 2 bracing, and possible type 3.
