  1. Is this pressurized using a compressor?

    1. yes, use your compressed air like filling a tire. I love mine and it holds pressure for a long time. I pressurized mine and weeks later it still is holding pressure.

  2. can this be used for bulk WD-40 ?

    1. YES! That is exactly what I use one for and my second one has Berryman B12 carburetor cleaner in it.

  4. Use with non flammable degreasers

    Are there any parts of this that would be damaged by non flammable degreasers such as Purple Power.

    1. No and Purple Power is good stuff!

    2. This spot sprayer is compatible with (and not damaged by) non-flammable degreasers like Purple Power as long as they are also non-abrasive.

  5. How thick can the liquid be?

    1. The thickest oil I have used is 14w-50 and this unit sprayed slowly but it stil sprayed it. I like using a thicker oil my round hay bailer chains while they are still hot. As long as the pressure in the spray can was high it sprayed well.

    2. There is no viscosity rating offered for this sprayer. It is not recommended to be used with any paint or oil liquids.

  6. Can this sprayer be used with water? If so will the tank rust or is it coated/lined on the inside?

    1. Yes this will spray water but I do not know if its has an inside coating.

    2. This sprayer can be used with water. It is made of steel and it is not lined so there is a potential to rust. To minimize this potential, it is recommended that it be emptied after each use and stored with the valve and the nozzle removed to provide a better chance of drying.

  7. Why is this described as non-flammable products only? Will using flammable brake cleaner damage this in some way?

    1. It will damage the internal components of the sprayer. It is not recommended to be used with any flammable propellants.

    How many feet vertical and horizontal is the reach of this sprayer shot?

    1. That would depend on the product used, amount in the container & PSI. It was tested with break cleaner at 1/2 full with 90 PSI and it went approximately 2 1/2 feet.

  10. Is it filled with optical grade air?

    Is air in the container free of oils and other contaminants that can jeopardize our optical components during cleaning?

    1. This sprayer is not filled with any air. It is shipped empty and is used for spraying a fine mist of many common liquids.
