  1. What is the inlet thread size?

    I was wondering what size of threads are in the inlet port on this spray gun?

    Also, would a pump that can supply 5GPM at 60psi work well with this spray gun, or would the spray pattern be poor?

    1. Inlet is 1/2" NPT I used a brass 1/2" NPT -: 3/8" hose
      barb and pressured the gun with 2/8" hose connection
      to my weed sprayer

    2. The inlet port has 1/2 inch threads. Also your pump that supplies the 5 GPM at 60 psi would work however it will be lacking the full potential.

  2. What is the minimum recommended pressure and flow?

    Can I get satisfactory results with 150 psi @ 7.7 gpm?

    1. Don't see why not, I'm using a lot less pressure and this has preformed very well.

    2. On this Valley Industries 22in. SuperJet Trigger Spray Gun the minimum pressure is about 100 psi at 5 gpm. It will work at less, but will not perform as well. 150 psi at 7.7 gpm performance will be satisfactory.

  3. Can this nozzle work with quick connect ?

    1. The trigger spray gun will have a 1/2" NPT threaded connection. An adapter will be needed to change the connection from an NPT connection to a quick connect hose barb connection.

  4. Does the spray gun attach directly to water hose or do we need pressurizer?

    1. This spray gun is intended to be attached to a 12 volt sprayer. It would not attach to a water hose.

  7. What is the maximum spray distance

    I have large pecan trees and need to get 45-50' to reach the web worms.

    1. This Spray Gun reaches spray heights of 30-35ft. with the use of proper equipment. For longer range see my recommendation below.

  8. How do you adjust the spray pattern?

    1. The spray pattern is adjusted based on how hard you squeeze the handle and trigger. Furthermore, adjustment screws on the handle will allow for a stopping point to achieve a consistent spray pattern if desired.

  9. Does this gun have a locking trigger?

    1. This Valley Industries spray gun does not have a locking trigger. However, you can adjust the screws once you select the spray pattern so that it makes that pattern each time you pull the trigger.

  10. How well does sprayer work with wettable powder type solution?

    The sprayer I'm using now will plug the nozzle and won't allow me to shut the sprayer off completely. Makes for a real bad day when there is a little wind.

    1. This will clog with using a wettable powder solution. Most guns will if your sprayer is not filtering it before it gets to the gun.
