  1. how do you adjust spray pattern?

    1. The forward handle moves back and forth. When pushed all the way forward the gun is off. As it is pulled back toward the operator, the spray adjusts from a wide spray pattern to a straight stream.

    2. If you're grabbing the spray gun with your right hand on the silver trigger grip shown in the picture, then you adjust the spray pattern with your left hand on the cylindrical black rubber grip at the gun's midpoint. Push forward for "stream flow", pull back for "spray".

    I have a 9.1 GPM 150 PSI pump. How high will the gun spray for insecticide spraying of trees? I have leaf-footed bugs that infest my Paulownia trees.

    1. This gun will spray approximately 33 feet vertically using your pump.

  4. Can I connect this spray gun to a normal garden hose to clean solar panels on a two-story home?

    1. This Long-Range spray gun has a 1/2" hose barb fitting. It is not designed for a garden hose connection. This is designed to attach to a pump powered sprayer to be able to spray up to 85 feet.

    1. The Valley Industries Long Range Spray Gun does not have a micron size spray rating due to the many variables of PSI, GPM flow rate and material being sprayed per manufacturer.

  6. Can this gun handle bleach?

    1. This long range spray gun is rated for use with insecticide type chemicals. It has not been rated for use with bleach and using it with bleach would void the warranty as it would erode the seals prematurely.

  8. Nozzle orifice??

    I bought the smaller SG-2200 and while the spray distance was just fine the volume allowed out of it's sub 2mm final nozzle orifice just won't allow soaking of fruit trees at an acceptable speed. While I don't need the additional distance of this SG-3200 I wonder if I'll get enough volume, regardless of it's 30gpm rating, as my pressure is well under 1000psi!. The final nozzle orifice would be my best info to have, if anyone can tell me? Also what is the lowest pressure this gun will perform acceptably at? Thanks!

    1. The essential information to know would be the PSI of your pump. This spray gun operates correctly at a minimum of 250psi. If your PSI is higher than 250 this gun would spray more volume than the SG-2200. The fitting size is larger on the SG-3200 to allow for more volume, but you need to have enough PSI to correctly operate the gun.

    Have the northstar 200 gal sprayer. What working pressure should I set to get best results from this nozzle?

    1. For optimal results without damaging the gun a PSI of 750 is recommended.
