Questions

  1. What is the Spray Distance (ft.)?

    What is a bullet spray

    1. Depends on the pressure and spray pattern. I use this tool to spray large oak trees. I use about 1000 to 1500 psi would say it sprays 30+ feet.

      Helpful?

    2. Several things factor in to the exact spray distance, but if you are using this Valley Industries spot spray gun with a pump that is also rated for close to 6 GPM, such as the NorthStar ATV Sprayer below, then you can expect a horizontal spray distance of approximately 25 feet.

      Helpful?

  2. Sure that pressure rating correct??

This SG-5518-09 appears to simply be a 9 inch version of model SG-5518-18, being identical other than wand length. The 18 inch version is rated 6 GPM just like this one, but 150 PSI instead of 1500 PSI, leading me to suspect a misprint? But perhaps I'm mistaken? Thanks!

    1 answer

    1. This spray gun is indeed rated for 1500 PSI at 6 GPM.

  3. does this gun fit in a reg. garden hose?

if this one does not, do you have other high pressure water guns that do?

    1 answer

    1. This spray gun will not connect to a regular garden hose. At Northern Tool we do not sell any high pressure water guns that will connect to a garden hose.

  4. spray gun item #25138 compatible to spray tank item # 2681791

    1 answer

    1. This spray gun has a 3/8" FNPT fitting and will work with spot sprayer #2681791.

      Helpful?

  5. Does it have a trigger lock?

    1 answer

    1. This spot spray gun doesn't have a trigger lock. Click the links below to view spray guns that have a trigger lock.

      Helpful?

  6. Can this unit be used with the 200 gallon northstar spray skid (11 gallon per minute with up to 600 PSI)?

    1 answer

    1. No. This spray gun is not compatible. The skid sprayer uses a 1/2" hose barb connection while this gun uses a 3/8" female threaded connection.

      Helpful?

  7. Does this connect directly to a hose or is it ment to go on the end of a pressure washer ?

    1 answer

    1. With this spray gun having a 3/8" FNPT fitting it will connect directly to a hose.
