    I just bought this item and can't figure out the purpose of the red fold out piece attached to the trigger. What is it used for and how to use it?

    1. It is used to lock it from spraying. Just flip the red piece down to lock it.

  4. Will this work with my Northstar spray tank?

    I believe the handles on my spray tanks are 3/8" barb so will this fit my tank? I bought them from Northern Tool. Does the pump need to meet the 6gpm rating to work? I was wanting to use this as a lower pressure, pressure washer instead of having to use a full size pressure washer to clean a large parking lot curbing.

    1. It works great on my sprayer with a 2.2 gpm pump.

    2. YES, I purchased this spray gun to use with my North Star 16 gallon tank sprayer.

    3. This is a sprayer type spot spray gun is for spraying chemicals, pesticides, etc...

      It is not intended for pressure washer type applications, but if your sprayer operates at less than 6 gallons per minute and 1500 PSI, this gun will work and fit your 3/8 inch hose barb fittings.

      At low pressures I am unable to confirm how effective this spray gun will clean, you will get better performance at higher pressures.

    1. The Valley Industries SG‑5518‑18 Deluxe Spot Spray Gun has a fixed 18-inch spray wand with an adjustable brass nozzle that twists from stream to mist, but the wand itself does not rotate or swivel.
