This Utility Pro Men's Class 3 High Visibility 3in.-1 Bomber Jacket with Teflon Fabric Protector and zip-out fleece liner is three jackets in one! High denier nylon shell with Teflon Fabric Protector is durable and resists water, mud, grease and dirt. Shell is lined with quilted 4 3/4-oz. polyfill for warmth. Has heavy-duty nylon front zipper with button-close storm flap, left chest pocket and front cargo pockets with pass-behind handwarmer pockets. Elastic cuffs with Velcro strap and elasticized waist. Class 3 approved silver reflective stripes over shoulders, around torso and arms. ANSI/ISEA 107-2015 Type R, Class 3 compliant. Zip-out black polyester fleece liner can be worn by itself or as a layer with shell. Features dual handwarmer pockets, elastic cuffs and nylon front zipper. Made in China.

    1. Yes. I work in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in California. I work in construction, and facilities maintenance which requires me to work in rain and snow. This jacket does a great job keeping me warm and dry. The removable liner makes this jacket suitable for many weather conditions. It is very rugged as well.

    2. yes- snowy for sure. I have not worn as only protection when raining a lot. Teflon material wears well.

    3. I would suggest that it's water resistant, and not waterproof. Expectations of waterproof are an independent viewpoint that I haven't observed, as I haven't used it in anything other than snow squalls. It is made of a nylon exterior, so water resistant is what I would call it.

      The overlapping layer over the front zipper, with it's button down flap keeps air from getting in, and wind driven snow as well. I've just started using this for snow operations, due to it's high visibility at night. So far, it's surpassed my expectations.

    4. While the Teflon coating on this jacket will make it resistant to water. The seams are not sealed as they would be in a true waterproof garment. Therefore, while the item will repel rain and snow, if you are in a heavy down pour for an extended period of time, eventually the seams will start to leak.

    How many inside pockets are there and what type?
    Also, is the outer chest pocket right or left chest. Some pics show it on the left and some show it on the right.

    1. There is one accessory style pocket on the inside of the jacket, which is located in the left chest area. There are also 2 hand warmer pockets in the zip-out fleece liner.
