The Uriah Products Aluma-Tow Adjustable Aluminum Ball Mount provides you with one product for all your towing needs. It has the superior gross trailer weight rating of 12,000 lbs., allowing you to haul heavier loads with ease. The adjustable ball mount fits into a 2in. square receiver. It has a 8in. max drop distance and a 8 3/4in. max. rise distance (adjustable in 1in. increments). Included are 3in.dependent chrome-plated steel interchangeable hitch balls (1 7/8in., 2in. and 2 5/16in.) covering all vehicle sizes. The aircraft quality aluminum alloy body design cannot rust and makes the product lightweight, while also providing maximum strength. The kit includes two locking hitch pins with 4 keyed-alike keys that prevents theft while connected to your vehicle.

    1. The load rating for the 1 7/8" ball is 5000 pounds. The load rating for the 2" ball is 7500 pounds. The load rating for the 2 5/16" ball is 12000 pounds.

  8. How long are the hitch pins?

    1. The hitch pins are 5/8". The non-locking hitch pin with clip is 3 ½ inches and the locking hitch pins are 3 ¾ inches.

  9. How do the different balls attach to the hitch? I see the pins but how does the pin stay in place during the tow?

    1. The pins are installed through the ball mount from the back end. They are held in place when the ball mount is on the hitch post. To remove the pins the ball mount must be removed from the hitch post to allow the pins to be backed out.
