Product Summary

UPG’s line of Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) absorbed glass mat (AGM) batteries are built for powering your work, as well as your adventures. They are very resistant to vibration, shock, heat, and chemicals. Their design means you have power longer; with a lower self discharge. AGM Unique design and manufacturing makes them exceptionally leak resistant, even upside down. Being smaller and lighter, they can be installed at an odd angle if needed. AGM batteries do a better job of holding a static charge longer, making it an upgrade from a convention flooded cell battery. DOT 60 classified, UL recognized. Reliable power in all applications. AGM batteries are lead – acid and of the same chemistry but the electrolyte is stabilized differently. In AGM batteries the electrolyte is suspended in fiberglass mat separators which act as absorbent sponges. AGM batteries are sealed, and maintenance free.
