The proprietary Ultra-Pack greasing system allows complete bearing repacks through a zerk fitting without hub removal, pushing old grease out through the front to reduce seal damage and downtime.

    1. The hub parts kit item number 785449 will include an inner and outer bearing, cotter pin, dust cap, dust cap tool, grease zerk, dust cap plug, and (2) oil seals. To order the kit, please contact our sister company Jack's Small Engine at 877-737-2787.

    1. A disc brake would work with this hub. It is a 7" diameter hub with a 6 on 5.5" lug pattern.

  4. What is the second oil seal for, is it for use during initial installation or to have for future maintenance?

    1. The seal that 2.13" is installed. The second seal is 2.25". That is included in case your application requires the larger seal.

  5. What size bearing buddy cap fits thus hub?

    1. This has a 2.441" hub bore. At this time, Northern Tool does not offer a Bearing Buddy that will fit this hub. Bearing Buddy model 2441 or 2441SS would be a suitable option.

  6. I want to mount this to Dexter axles on my 1991 Hitchhiker 5th wheel. The bearing sizes seem okay (1 1/4 and 1 3/4. My bolt pattern is 6 by 5.5 and the 2750 capacity is fine (my Dexter axle is 5200 lbs. My seals, however, have 2.085 I.D. Will this work

    1. This hub will work with your axle as the bearing sizes match. The seal size is specific to the hub not the axle.

    Will this hub work with the axle PN 48195?

    1. The hub does have the same seal size (2.25"), inner bearing size (1.75") and outer bearing size (1.25") as the axle, item 48195. The hub does not meet the maximum weight capacity of the axle.

    I just need to know what wheel fits this hub for the bolt spacing etc.

    1. The hub will work with a wheel that has a 6 hole 5.5" bolt circle. The 15" modular wheel item number 121281 will work with this hub.
