Product Summary

The Ultra-Tow RatchetX Tie-Down with double J-hooks provides extra stability for traveling long distances. It can be used for the heaviest loads often hauled on a large trailer or flatbed and is also great for tractors, vehicles and other large equipment. SmartWeb technology provides webbing that is stronger and more abrasion resistant than standard webbing. The strap includes a robust, flared-out aluminum handle with padded grip and release pawl for extra grip. It also has extra-durable stamped steel rails for maximum leverage as well as a comfortable overmolded padded Power Grip. 2in.W x 25ft.L high-capacity, high-visibility, commercial-duty webbing is extra long for securing oversized, tall cargo.

    1 answer

    1. To release the strap, open the ratchet lever fully and then push the manual pawl (the smaller handle) to disengage the strap. Once the pawl is disengaged, the strap can be pulled loose and be released from the ratchet.
