  1. If I have a hitch that is 2" and My bike rack without cargo rack insert is also a 2" would this work to have the two connected together? The insert bar is only on the cargo rack but would like the option of just using my bike rack thanks!

    1. This receiver hitch adapter reduces the 2" hitch to 1-1/4" for bike racks or other carriers that require a 1-1/4" hitch. If your bike rack has a 2" hitch, it should fit into your receiver hitch without the use of an adapter.

  3. Can it be used In reverse? I have a 1 1/4 hitch but I have a 2” bike rack?

    1. The adapter is not intended to be used in reverse. The item number 32823 will adapt from 1-1/4" to 2".

  4. Is this for Class I or Class II hitches?

    1. This is designed for a Class III hitch or higher with a 2 inch square receiver size. This adapts the 2 inch receiver down to 1 1/4 inch.
