  3. Hi I bought this kit mounted the brackets everything's good to go. What is the strength of these bolts? I never heard a SJ which is stamped on the top of them. I normally like to use grade 8. Thanks

  4. Do I have to weld the hanger brackets or can I just bolt them onto the frame ?

  5. center to center distance

    If I'm using 25.25 spring centers then do I use that dimension for placing the brackets apart before I weld them or should it be slightly more or less? There used to be a little diagram for this in the package in the past but not this time.

    1. If you are using 25.25" spring centers, you will need to mount/weld the hangers exactly 25.25" apart (on center).

  7. What does it include and dimensions?

    I need to know what the bolt sizes are, the center to center on the hanger link and all dimensions on front and rear hangers please. And will the kit do both sides.

    1. The shackle set will include (6) shackle bolts and nuts, (2) front hangers, (2) rear hangers and (4) shackle links. The bolts are 1/2" diameter x 3 1/4" long. The hanger link center to center measures 3 1/8". The large hanger measures 4 1/4" H x 3" W and 2 1/4" from side to side. The small hanger measures 2" H x 1-1/2" W and 1-3/4" from side to side. This kit is for both sides of one axle.
