    1. This hitch extension is designed to fit all 2" receiver openings and has a 4,000 lb. capacity. It should support a scooter lift; however, for safety and liability reasons, we do not recommend that the scooter be occupied while connected to this hitch extension.

    1. The top hitch is designed for use with a bike rack or cargo carrier up to a maximum of 400 pound tongue weight. The top hitch is unable to be used for towing.

    1. This dual hitch extension should not be used upside down as a drop hitch. The shorter (top) receiver is designed for use with accessories like a bike rack for cargo carrier; it is not rated for towing.

      you do not exceed the 400 pound maximum tongue weight.
