  1. Is this the same as a regular trailer hitch receiver? Will a bike rack with a 2" tube fit inside?

    1. The receiver tube is the same as a standard 2" hitch receiver. It will work with a 2" x 2" hitch mount.

  2. The truck has a 2-1/2" hitch so inserting this tube into the truck and then putting a standard 2" hitch into the other end of the tube, effectively making a hitch extension. What would be the weight rating of this setup.

  3. Can I put this in my 2.5 inch receiver and haul a 8,000 lb camper? Goal being to have my tailgate down on my 3/4 ton truck with my trailer.

    1. The receiver tube is for a standard 2" receiver. It would not fit a 2.5" receiver.

  4. What is the OD of this tube?

    1. The outside of the tube measures 3” x 3” x 24”. The inside of the tube measures 2” x 2” x 24”.

  5. Is this completely hollow throughout or does it have a wall that stops just past the predrilled hole?
