  1. Will this product also work as a 2.5" to 2.0" hitch adapter?

    1. This is designed to be a weld-on extension for a 2" hitch. It cannot be used as a 2.5" to 2" hitch adapter. The item number 32797 is a 2.5" to 2" hitch adapter.

  2. If it accepts a 2 inch trailer hitch, what is the OD of the tube - 2 1/2 inches?

    1. The outside dimensions of the tube are 2-9/16" x 2-9/16".

    1. This is a standard 2" receiver tube. It will not slide into a 2" receiver. The item number 32824 will be a 12 inch hitch extender that will slide into a standard 2" receiver hitch.
