  3. Discharge pipe connection

    I’m replacing two sump pumps. The discharge pipe is 1 1/2” schedule 40. Will this pump work with the appropriate adapter? I want to make sure that reducing to 1 1/2” won’t harm the pump.

    1. An adapter to a 1 1/2" outlet would cause the pump to wear prematurely that would lead to a malfunction of the pump and void the warranty.
