  1. Is this 16 lb maul forged and cast, therefore suitable for striking metal?

    1. Not sure on the forged or cast, but I had the same concerns. I recently was hammering with all my 225 lbs against a 1,100 lb piece of 1-1/4" steel trying to straighten some metal. It didn't seem to hurt the maul in the least!
