Yes, the Troy-Bilt 25cc 2-Cycle Curved Shaft String Trimmer is compatible with TrimmerPlus® attachments. This means you can easily connect various attachments, including a pole saw, to enhance its versatility.

There is a knob below the handle to the trimmer head to remove and retighten to attach other implements to it.

You would press the primer bulb until you see fuel in the in the primer bulb, then place the choke lever in position 1. Squeeze the throttle control and pull the starter rope 5 times. Place the choke lever in position 2, squeeze the throttle control, pull starter rope 3-5 times to start the engine. Keep the throttle control squeezed and allow the engine to warm up 30 to 60 seconds, then keeping in squeezed move it to position 3 and warm another 60 seconds. It should now be ready to use. Unscrew the bump knob. Remove the inner reel and spring. Cut a 6 foot length of 0.095 trimmer line, split each end 6". Insert one end into the top hole, and the other in to the bottom hole. Wind the line tightly. Insert the two 6" sections into the holding slots and pass the line ends through the eyelets. Place the spring inside the inner reel. Insert the inner reel into the outer spool. Press together.
Hold the inner reel and outer spool together and Pull the line ends to release them from the holding slots.
