This highly accurate meter was designed according to IEC651 (Type 2) and ANSI S1.4 (Type 2) standards. Its large backlit display and A/C weighting make it an ideal choice for any installer. Overall, the SoniChek PRO is well suited for a variety of commercial and residential applications such as fire alarm, home theater, plant maintenance, HVAC installations and more.     1. Model# 3550 is designed for industrial/commercial noise and, because its upper range and response are too limited for extremely brief impulsive events, it will likely under‑read or clip firearm muzzle blasts that commonly exceed 130 dB.
