Product Summary

The Triplett Model MS120 measure moisture content in wood (0.1 to 99.9%) and other building materials (0.1 to 56.5%). It utilizes pinless measurement for non-invasive testing. Low, Medium and High icons indicate moisture level and an audible indicator increases as the moisture level gets higher for quickly scanning large areas. Data Hold freezes measurement on screen for hard to see areas. Self-calibration on power up. For home inspection, water damage restoration, lumber yards, painting, paper mills, textile, clothing manufacturing, and other industries. Includes 9V battery. 1 -yewar warranty.

  1. How Deep will this moisture meter measure inside of a wall?

    1. This Triplett pinless moisture meter can measure moisture to a maximum depth of 1" (25 mm) inside a wall.

  2. Will this work with fiberglass in boat ?

    1. The moisture meter could not be used with a fiberglass boat. They're commonly used on wood, drywall, and other construction materials, they might not be as effective on fiberglass. Fiberglass is a non-conductive material, meaning it doesn't conduct electricity well. Pinless moisture meters rely on the conductivity of materials to measure moisture, so they might not provide accurate readings on fiberglass. We do not have anything for fiberglass.
