Product Summary

The Triplett Model CM3000 1000A True RMS AC/DC Clamp Meter can measure AC/DC current up to 1000A without breaking the circuit by clamping around a single conductor. This saves time and the circuit will not be damaged. It also comes with a 3000A AC Flex Clamp for measuring high current (1.5 to 3000A) in tight spaces. True RMS provides better accuracy when measuring non-sinusoidal or noisy waveforms. Additional measurements include Resistance, Capacitance, Frequency, Temperature, Diode Test, and Continuity. Measurements can read on the 6000 count backlit LCD with analog bargraph. It has an Inrush current function that captures the instantaneous surge (inrush) current when power equipment is turned on. Features include: Lo Z (impedance) mode for identifying ghost voltages, Low Pass FIlter (LPF) for filtering frequency and harmonic interference when measuring variable frequency drives, Min/Max records highest and lowest readings, Data Hold freezes the display for easy viewing, NCV Detector with audible/visual alerts, Relative Mode for making comparisons to a stored reference value, Auto power off, and a built-in flashlight. CAT IV-600V safety category. Includes 3000A AC Flex Clamp with (3) AAA batteries, Test Leads, Type K Thermocouple Bead Probe, 3 AAA batteries, and carrying bag. 1-year warranty.
