    1. This rack has an optional bedrail mounting bracket kit sold separately as model BR101. The part can be purchased through the manufacturer directly.

  4. Can it mount to an open trailer without having to drill holes in the trailer

    1. It is recommended to drill holes to mount the rack onto an open trailer. You may weld the mount to the trailer. You will need to grind off the paint on the base plate prior to welding. Do not weld on the locking tube of the rack. This will damage the locking mechanism.

  5. Does this work well with an open utility trailer? I see it's suitable for open and enclosed trailers but made more for an enclosed trailer. Looking for replies from people who have used this product with open trailers.

    1. The rack does include aluminum mounting blocks. Customized combination lock blocks (model CA073) are available from the manufacturer separately. Replacement parts are available through the manufacturer.
