The operating voltage can fluctuate. This thermostat draws 22 amps from 120V - 277V. If it is operating on 120V, it would be rated for 2,640 watts. For 208V it would be rated for 4,576 watts, for 240V it would be rated for 5,280 watts and for 277V it would be rated for 6,094 watts.

This thermostat has a piggy back style plug. The thermostat plugs in to a wall outlet and the heater plugs in to the back of the thermostat plug.
