This Fostoria Outdoor/Indoor Suspended Infrared Radiant Electric Heater by TPI warms people and objects without taking up floor or wall space. Heater is designed to provide efficient spot heating for many commercial and industrial applications.   1. What thermostat do you have that works with this heater. What is the maximum temperature does this heater produce. Will the thermostat be adjustable to regulate the temperature of the unit. Thank you

    1. The TPI DPST thermostat, item 4906213, is compatible with this heater. The thermostat range is 50-90 degrees F. It is a standard thermostat, which can regulate the temperature.

  2. can this unit be thermostat controlled, how many units are needed in a 25 ft x 70 ft DPW truck garage

    1. This unit can be thermostatically controlled. Installation must be done by a certified electrician. This unit has a max output of 20,478 BTU's. You would need 2 to 3 heaters to heat your area.

    1. The heater will be hard wired. Wire size needed will be 8 AWG.

  4. What clearance is needed from a horizontal ceiling mount to combustible object below the heater?

    1. This heater requires 85" of clearance from combustibles. The full mounting clearances are: 6-3/4" from ceiling, 30" from vertical surface, and 36" from another heater. It is also recommended to be mounted 10' to 12' high.
