This Fostoria Indoor/Outdoor Overhead Quartz Electric Infrared Heater by TPI offers powerful heat for snow and ice control, outdoor spot heating and all indoor heating applications. ETL listed for suspended, totally exposed outdoor heating and high-bay indoor comfort heating, exterior snow and ice control, as well as recessed applications. 96% radiant delivered efficiency with high moisture and thermal shock resistance. Broadcasts a 60° pattern with instantaneous heat-up and cool-down performance. Built-in surface mounting brackets for fixture adjustment up to 45° horizontal tilt.

  3. Building measures 25' X 60' & 14' ceiling height. How many would you recommend putting & how far apart on mounting? Thank you

    1. The heater will heat approximately 272 sq feet. In this size of an area it would be recommended that you have a minimum of 5-6 units that would be spaced evenly through out the area.

  4. What , if any, mounting bracket is included?

    Is it designed to be mounted directly above head, in the rafters of a screened porch, for instance, or can it also be wall mounted? Also, what is the heated area of the 90 degree pattern (i.e. 8x8, 6x6)?

    1. This unit is designed to be mounted over head Built-in surface mounting brackets attached to the top wiring channel. 0 to 45° Tilt @ 15° increments. Allows the unit to be tilted (up to 45º from horizontal) when the unit is surfaced mounted. With a 90 degree symmetric heating capability the recommended mounting height for this unit is 8' to 12'.
