No, it's electric.
This is a 120 Volt (or so) electric heater. The BTU output is approximately 5,500 BTU. At 40 degrees F. outside, ANY electric space heater on its maximum heat setting, with a less than moderately insulated room/house without any other heat source, this unit will most likely maintain 68 degrees F. in a 225 square foot room with large single pane windows and a 10 foot wide double pane sliding glass door with concrete block walls and no insulation. 6" fiberglass in the roof if exposed to the outside. At 30F or bellow, all bets are off. an 8x10 room in a heavily insulated house would most likely maintain in the 60's, but below 15F, maybe in the 50's.
