  3. revresible blade position?

    I have installed attic fans before and know they pull hot air out. I have long house and small soffit venting. I want to konw if I can reverse the blade (pull off the arbor and install backwards) on a second fan and install on opposite end to pull cooler air IN and the other fan traditionally on opposite gable to pull air out.

    1. The fan blade is held on by a single nut. You could remove the nut and blade and install the blade backwards.

    This is to replace an existing Cool Attic fan and need to know the diameter of the motor so that the replacement can be strapped into existing housing. How many amps? Does this include a control box? Thanks.

    1. The diameter of the motor is 5.12". The motor depth is 4.97". The amps are 2.8 . This does include a control box.
