  1. Can it carry a fishing kayak?

    1. The carrier is designed to be used to carry up to 4 bikes. It is not recommended to be used to carry a kayak. The carrier does not have J cradle or saddle designed for this application.

  2. will it work on ebikes with fenders

    1. The cargo carrier and bike rack can work for e-bikes with fenders, but it requires caution and potentially extra securing methods. It will hold heavy e-bikes up to 75 lbs each, the metal clamping arms may scratch fenders, and the included straps are often considered insufficient for heavy bikes.

  3. What is the maximum wheelbase of bike that this will support?

    1. There is no wheelbase specified. As long as the bike can sit on the carrier and fit the cradles, it should work. The inner platform dimensions are 61" long x 26" wide x 2.125" tall. The outer platform dimensions are 62" long x 27.25" wide x 3.25" tall.

    1. The bike rack adapters included with this cargo carrier are made by Tow Tuff. At this time, we do not offer the bike rack adapters separately.

    1. Yes, as long as it is a 2" receiver.

    1. The maximum tire width is 2.5 inches. The tire hoops are 2.5 inches wide.
