This Wi-Fi camera can be connected to any 12-volt DC source on the vehicle. It can be wired to the backup lights so that it turns on when the vehicle is put in reverse or it can be wired to the license plate lights so it can be turned on by turning on the vehicle's lights. It can also be wired directly to the vehicle's 12-volt battery with a switch.
