Product Summary

This Top Dawg Heavy-Duty Wired Backup Camera System is designed for trucks (private or commercial), RVs, buses and other vehicles. The Color Night Vision Camera offers a variety of installation options, including on the rear bumper, on the trailing or leading edge of the vehicle or trailer and other places. This camera delivers nighttime illumination up to 16ft. and provides excellent viewing with a 145° angle lens that can be moved up and down. The 7in. TFT-LCD color monitor provides 420 lines of resolution and a switch for 4 angles of viewing (normal, reverse, inverted and inverted reverse). The monitor also features additional video input that can be used for a DVD player or any other device with an RCA video output. The LCD can be mounted on a windshield or dash and includes a 60ft. heavy-duty cable to connect the LCD to the camera. This system includes 1 camera but can be expanded by an additional camera (sold separately). The entire system can be installed easily in 45-90 minutes.

    1. The cable to connect LCD Camera to Monitor is 60 feet long.

  2. Does this system require a wiring harness to power and come on when in reverse? Is it included?

    1. A separate wiring harness is not required. It will come with a universal wire harness to connect to the camera system and allow for a hard wire connection to the vehicles wiring.

  3. Can this be used in a front facing application on a front end loader?

    1. This camera system could be used front facing in a front end loader provided the wiring and camera are installed in a manner that protects them from damage. While this is a heavy duty camera system it is not built to withstand the direct impacts from heavy machinery use.
