    I have a 1" bench top belt sander, will this control the speed?

    1. The Tjernlund Fan Speed control is rated for fan motors up to 300 watts, 3 amps. Any use other than fan motors of that size and under would void the warranty.

  3. what size motor

    I don't have an amp rating on the motor, if the amp rating is above the speed control rating will it damage the motor, or the speed control, niether or both

    1. The motor on the fan should be under 300 watts and 3 amps to use this product. If the Amp draw on the motor is higher than the speed control amp rating, this would damage the speed control.
