  1. How does it mount? Is mounting hardware included?

    1. Properly support the fan with plumbers strap and attach rigid or flex duct. The mounting hardware is not included. This will depend on the application. Mounting instructions are listed in the manual.

    I have asked this questions three times in past 3 days...What are the dimensions of this unit???Please!!!

    1. The overall length of the fan is 15.25", the installed length is 13", the width is 7" and the height is 7". The inlet/outlet is 4".

  3. Wiil fan work on 4 in PVC pipe?

    I want to vent a bunker for intake and maybe reverse to exhaust air out of bunker..Can this unit work in that scenario?

    1. This vent is capable of being used for intake into a bunker and also to exhaust air out of a bunker. The fan is also capable of being used with 4" PVC piping.

    1. What is the noise level of this fan running?
    2. Does it fit in a 3 1/2 in flexible pipe?
    3. Would it be suitable to vent continuously a crawlspace of a 1000 sq.ft. home?

    1. While this Tjernlund fresh air fan would be suitable to vent your crawlspace, Tjernland does not rate the decibel level or noise level of their crawl space ventilator fans. This ventilator requires 4” flex or metal duct to be used for proper ventilation.

  5. Is this the fan I`m looking for?

    I`m looking for a fan to draw air from my crawl space under my home to my pantry and possibly my living room dining room area. Does this motor go one speed only or can I regulate with a example, dimmer switch?
