  1. Is there a shorter chain holder for this model? I would like to be able to sharpen a chain with a 4 inch bar.

    1. A shorter chain holder is not available for this chainsaw sharpener.

  2. how do you adjust the chain?

    1. Set the guides to the chain using the set screw to the right so that is firmly fixed in the clamping screw by clamping the lever control. Set the feed by adjusting the set screw at the left. With severely worn chains, the lateral position of the chain guide should be secured using the center set screw corresponding to the read out scale. The vise angle should be set up by adjusting the set screw at the bottom. Some types of chains require that the clamping screw be tilted 5-10 degrees. Instructions are included with the grinder.
