    When you speak of 75 % argon & 25% Co2, does the gas come pre mixed or do I need 2cylinders

    1. Yes, the gas is a mixture and is put into one bottle for welding mild steel.

    2. it comes pre mixed we use 85% argon and 15% carbon dioxide for the type of welding we do it all comes pre mixed

    3. The gas should be available locally pre-mixed. Check with your local welding supplier.

  2. Pressure reading on a full bottle?

    I exchanged an empty for a refill. When I got home and plugged in my regulator, it read 130psi....which to me seems low for a full bottle.

    What pressure should a full bottle read?

    1. Are you reading the right line on the regulator? I had mine filled and it had 1600 lbs in it. there are two lines on the gauge, read the higher number.

    2. A full bottle is rated at 1800 PSI though it can go as high as 2000 PSI. Temperature can cause some slight variance as well.

  3. Do your new cylinders come with the hyro-test validation sticker?

    1. The cylinders include all the appropriate identification numbers needed to fill or exchange it at any local gas supply shop. However, after five years it will need to be re-tested.

    2. No they have a date stamp on cyl after five years cyl will need new inspection.

  4. Where do I get the cylinders filled?

    Can these be re-filled or exchanged for filled bottles at Northern Tool in Memphis, TN.

    2. They cannot be filled or exchanged at a local Northern store. You would get them filled at a local welding shop or gas supplier.

    1. This cannot be used because it has a different thread. It is not designed for that cylinder.

    1. You can expect approximately 2 hours run time.
