  1. Can this cylinder be used for Nitrogen?

    Is there any reason this cylinder can't be used to hold Nitrogen gas? I was under the impression that the pressure requirements were the same for Argon and Nitrogen, and that they both used a CGA-580 valve. Am I wrong?

    1. No, this tank is only capable of a 75/25 Argon/CO2 mix, the maximum pressure of this tank is between 1800-2000 psi. Nitrogen tanks have a pressure requirement of 2200 psi.

  2. Does the cylinder have an attached inspection date or must a certified inspection be done before filling.

    1. The Thoroughbred gas cylinder comes with a warranty against any defects and is ready to fill upon arrival.
