    1. Yes. The Swisher Rough Cut Trail Mower does have a recoil backup. It does have a height adjustment from 7-11 inches.

    1. Yes, this unit features electric start. There is a battery box that is included with this item. This mower requires a 12 volt lawn and garden battery that will fit the dimensions of the 5.5"L x3.25"W x 5"H box.
