  1. what is the cutting height on this piece of equipment

    1. It has a hard button on the bottom and instructions say to just run the cutter on the ground. So including the button minium cutting height is about 2" but you can tilt the machine back and cut higher like trimming bottom of bushes.

    2. There is no set cutting height on the walk behind trimmer. The cutting height is determined by the angle the user has the head at when cutting.

  2. What does CARB Compliant mean?

    1. CARB is an acronym for California Air Resource Board, whose stringent air-quality standards have been adopted by many states. A Non-CARB Compliant Engine fails to meet these standards. While CARB-compliant engines run cleaner than non-compliant models, they still emit pollutants.

  3. Arbor for Saw Blade?

    Does the arbor on this machine enable the installation of a typical carbide tipped saw blade to cut brush? If not, half its utility is wasted. Also, does the cutting path extend outside the wheel spacing so you don't have to continually plunge cut along fences?

    1. This is a string trimmer only. It does adjust to left or right to trim closer.
