These Swann Communications Full HD 1080P Wi-Fi Outdoor Cameras with Audio Capture are plug-and-play, stand-alone weatherproof cameras which can be used directly through Wi-Fi or via a wired connection to a router. With these cameras, there's no need for a DVR or NVR. These units record to internal memory and to the Cloud. The audio capture feature lets you identify voices by gender, accent and age and hear off-screen noises. True Detect feature senses and records warm moving objects such as people, animals and cars. Simply push a button prior to use to receive recordings and alerts of movement. True Detect eliminates false triggers such as rain, birds or falling leaves, so you don't receive notices you don't need. These cameras have night vision up to 65ft. The included SAFE by Swann app allows you to control, view and listen to recordings on your smartphone, tablet or other device. Ideal for checking up on family members, pets, delivery services and more.

    1. The cameras offer wireless capability. They come with 2 - 60ft power extension cables.

  2. What type of sd card do I use for this camera?

    1. The camera does not use a card. Video clips can be stored for 7 days to the internal memory and 2 days for the secure cloud. The consumer will have the ability to expand storage to 30 days using cloud recording.

    1. The Swann Security app is currently only available on iOS and Android for supported phones and tablets, operation on PC or Mac is not supported.

    1. This unit will require a power supply using an A/C outlet. This unit does not have a rechargeable battery.

  5. I currently have 2 non-wifi wireless cameras but, they have static interference issues. Is that going to be an issue with these cams? Also, can these be connected to a video recording device? If not, they're useless unless you're constantly monitoring.

    1. These cameras cannot be connected to a video recording device because it is not needed. the cameras save video clips to local built-in memory for 7 days and secure cloud for 2 days, with the ability to expand that to 30 days of cloud recording. The camera records video and sends push notifications when it detects movement. You can access & control the cameras and view live footage & recordings by using the Swann Security app via mobile phone remotely. The manufacturer's do not report issues regarding static interference.
