This Swann Communications 8-Channel DVR-4980 Security System features True Detect PIR Thermal Sensing technology to detect heat-generating moving objects such as people, large pets and cars. With this advanced motion detection you will receive more reliable notifications and recording, eliminating false triggers such as falling leaves, bugs, rain and other moving objects. The 5MP live and recorded video is up to 2.4X better than 1080p full HD. You'll be able to see activity with extreme clarity. Facial detail, license plate numbers and clothing patterns are all easy to discern. This system includes 4 PRO-5MPMSB security cameras designed for indoor/outdoor use and weatherproof rated at IP66. Their dome shape allows these cameras to blend with their environment for discreet monitoring. Cameras allow you to see up to 100ft. (30m) in the dark with their powerful infrared night vision and come with BNC cables. (For optimum performance, it is recommended that you use the cables supplied versus existing BNC cables you might already have in place.) This security system is expandable by 4 cameras for a complete 8-channel home security system suitable for indoor/outdoor monitoring of medium-sized businesses and detached homes. The included HomeSafe View app allows you to view real-time footage of your home or business at all times, so you can keep an eye on kids, babysitter, cashier, customers, tradespeople, pets and everything else you're concerned about.
