  3. Can I use this to water from a 300 gal portable tank? Could I power it from my trucks vehicle battery? Would it damage the pump to shut off garden hose between watering locations?

    1. The pump could be used to draw water from a 300 gallon portable tank, as long as you are within the maximum total head of the 20ft the pump is rated for. You can connect it to your vehicles battery, but would need to keep the vehicle running, as it would drain the battery if it is not running to keep it charged. You would need turn the pump off at the switch and disconnect it from the battery between watering locations.

    1. This is not rated for continuous use as a pond fountain pump.

    1. The pump is not designed for use with that application. It can vary based on the inlet flow and pressure required for the pressure washer.

    1. The maximum pressure the pump will produce is 10.8 PSI. The pump will move up to 23 GPM.

  7. I want to pump water out of the lake to water plants on the dock and within 100 feet of the shoreline.  I would suspend the pump from the dock so it wouldn't touch the bottom, but some sand will probably get sucked in.  Will sand damage the pump?

    1. The pump should not be used to pump sand, gravel, cement, grease, plaster, mud, tar, oil, gasoline, solvents or other abrasive or corrosive substances. This will void the manufacturer warranty.
