Product Summary

Like the radiant warmth from the sun, radiant heat warms people and objects directly at Floor level without First heating the surrounding air. Customers can dine and relax under the radiant warmth of the GLASS, and help you to maximize the use of your seating areas during those colder winter months. Designed with high temperature tinted glass, SunStar GLASS is wind resistant up to 40MPH. Factory shipped as a two stage control heater and can be used with optional 3 position switch for ultimate comfort. Operate at First stage (24,000 Btu/hr) during milder days and operated at full power (35,000 Btu/hr) on colder days. Also it can be operated at full power (35,000 Btu/hr) as a single stage heater by a simple factory supplied jumper wire.

  1. Does it have to be hard wired or can you get a remote and a battery to ignite?

    1. The heater does require 120 VAC/60 Hz electrical supply for direct spark ignition. The amperage draw is .01 amps. The heater would also require a 24 volt thermostat with a relay kit or and on/off switch to operate. There is no remote available.

    1. This is the heater only, all mounting and installation materials would be provided by the installer.

  3. What is the minimum mounting distance from the ceiling.

    How much square footage does the heater cover?

    Is there a minimum clearance to both the roof and Floor?

    1. This can cover up to 144 square feet in low wind conditions, and should be mounted at least 8 feet 1 inch off the ground, with 2 feet of clearance from the top.
