The Sunnydaze Universal Double Hammock Stand lets you enjoy a hammock almost anywhere without trees, posts, or drilling. This 2-person stand pairs with an existing hammock and measures 124in. wide by 40in. deep by 52.5in. tall, with 55in. base bars. It accommodates 9.5- to 14ft. hammocks, including spreader-bar, Brazilian, Mayan, and camping styles: shorter hammocks attach to the lower hanging points, while the ropes of longer hammocks drape over the top crossbars and secure to the hook bolts to reach 14ft. Two 18in. chains let you fine-tune the sag and angle. The A-frame poles are 1.5in. powder-coated tubular steel with a 1.5 mm wall thickness, and the weight capacity is 600 pounds. The crossbar adds stability and helps distribute the load. Powder-coated steel performs best when kept dry, so wipe the frame down after rain and shelter or store it in coastal, humid, or freezing conditions. Weighing 33 pounds, the stand is easy to move, but an empty frame can tip in strong winds, so position it in a sheltered location, add base weight in exposed areas, and bring it indoors during high winds. Assembly requires no tools; spring-snap buttons lock the frame together, so most people set it up in about 10 minutes. Keep the crossbar right-side-up, slide on the plastic feet, and verify both S-hooks, hanging hooks, and chains are included before use. The stand easily disassembles for compact storage. Use it on a patio, porch, yard, or deck, or bring it indoors as a daybed in a sunroom.
