  1. Two output ports?

    From one of the pictures, it appears that this sprinkler puts out two simultaneous streams of water, from two separate ports. Does it?

    1. Yes, it does. The secondary nozzle or lower nozzle is for close in watering and it is a fixed 5mm nozzle with a stream diffuser attached to break the water stream up if desired.

    3. There is a second nozzle that shoots out at 90 degrees from below the main nozzle It covers the ground close in by the sprinkler as the main flow is shot so far out the close in ground would never get wet

  2. Where can I get the 1.25" hose to operate this?

    I've been looking for a large sprinkler to water my pastures during the dry season. I have a pump and a 2" manifold line, but now that I've found the sprinkler, where do I find the hose to operate it?

    1. Northern tools has all the hoses. Best to run 2 inch up to sprinkler. Reduce at sprinkler

    2. I used a 2" lay flat hose with my water pump and just reduced it to 1 1/4" at the sprinkler. No problems so far.

    3. Just use a reducer that goes from 1 1/4 to 2" on the end of the sprinkler. I use a quick connect from the 2" connector to hook to my two inch hose to make moving the sprinkler easier.

    4. Northern Tool does not offer a 1-1/4" connection size hose in our inventory for this sprinkler. A hose of this size can be found at a local hardware store.

    1. The sprinkler end is 1 1/4 inch male.

  4. Can you run more than one with a 5.5hp 2" IPT pump

    1. Depends on how many gallons a minute your pump puts out

    2. More than one sprinkler can be used at a time depending on the GPM produced by the pump. One or two sprinklers may not be enough to prevent back excessive pressure on a gas operated pump. Please check with the manufacturer of the pump to find out how many of these sprinklers would be required to prevent back pressure on the pump.

    1. This sprinkler has a maximum flow of 63 GPM and is compatible with pumps rated from 23 to 63 GPM.

    1. This sprinkler could be used with a trash pump as long as the inlet of the sprinkler is filtered so no debris passes through it. The pump would also need to produce 22 to 70 PSI water pressure and 23 to 63 GPM flow rate for the sprinkler to operate properly.

    1. This sprinkler includes 8mm, 10mm, 12mm,14mm, and 16mm nozzles. The nozzles can be changed out by using the included wrench.
