  1. I need a sprnkiler that can connect to a 2" supply line. Wil this work? I fnot, what SKU # do you have?

    1. I use a 2", I found a reducer bushing from an irrigation place on the internet that had a 1 1/4 to 2 bushing. Then put your on fitting on the end I used a cam lock on the 2" side.

    2. I have 2 of these and bought a reducer to hook between the 2 inch and the 1 1/4 sprinkler. These work great. You need a good pump to supply enough water to it. I use a Star 2 HP pump that I also bought from Northern. A great pump at a great price. I plan on buying 2 more this spring.

    3. Northern Tool does not currently offer a larger sprinkler. This sprinkler can be fed from a 2" supply line as long as the flow rate is 23-63 GPM and 22-75 PSI. Northern Tool does not offer a fitting that is 1-1/4" x 2". That would have to be purchased locally.

  2. Can this be used to irrigate a vegetable farm?

    1. Absolutely, just keep it in a narrow drive row and plant high growing veggies away from it if you have it in the middle of your garden. You just have to plan accordingly when you plant your garden.

    2. This sprinkler can be used to water vegetables. It does require a water source that can provide 23-63 gallons per minute with 22-70 PSI and a 1-1/4" hose to deliver the water to the sprinkler. The unit will cover a 150 foot diameter (17,000 square feet) so be careful to not over water smaller plants.

  3. Why 5 nozzles? How are they used?

    1. They change the spray pattern. Full stream is not always ideal.

    2. The included nozzle sizes are 8 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm, 14 mm and 16 mm. The different size nozzles will provide different flow rate output.

  5. Would this work in a residential application? What hose size is required? 1 1/2 sprinker head is pretty large is it not?

    1. This sprinkler could be used for residential applications. It has an inlet fitting size of 1 1/4". An adapter could be used for a 3/4" standard garden hose fitting provided the flow rate is 23-63 GPM and 22-75 PSI for proper operation.

    1. This sprinkler is not equipped with a suction filter. This item is designed to be connected to a clean household water pipe. We do not recommend using a river, lake or pond as the water source.

  8. Will this work with a 2" trash pump?

    1. This sprinkler handles a flow rate of 23-63 gallons per minute. If it is used with a pump that is significantly higher in GPM, it can potentially damage the sprinkler or cause inefficient operation.

  9. Could I run 2 of these off of a 2 horse water pump and where can I get the small water hose from I haven’t looked only asking and thanks

    1. This sprinkler requires 23 to 63 GPM and 22 to 70 PSI to operate. As long as the pump can continuously provide this to each sprinkler, they should operate properly. A water supply hose for this sprinkler is not available from Northern Tool.

  10. In the bag of nozzles, there are additional parts. The manual doesn't show what these are, or how to use them. What are these extra parts for?

    1. The black arm is attached to the bottom of the nozzle with the set screw. The pin and spring are inserted in the end of the arm and will be moved up and down to adjust the spray pattern as desired.
