  1. The logs i want to cut are about 8' long can the 9' rails work for that? I thought the 5' would be to short an two of them would be to long

    1. Get the 9' system. It is easer to start the saw if there is some overhang of the rail off the end of the log. As long as the hold down spikes will go into the log, that system will work for you.

    2. The 9' rail could be used to cut log that is 8' long.

  2. Do these need support in the middle? 9' seems like a long span for just two cross members..

    1. The hold down spikes will anchor the guide rail to the log. The log will provide the support to the rails for cutting, so additional support is not required.

  3. Is this one 9’ bar or are they 2 pieces put together  for a total of 9

    1. The rail will be a 108 inches (9 feet). It is not two separate pieces that equal 9 feet.

  4. I have 2 - 5' item 11880 rails and #11882 connectors. If I order this 9' section will #11882 connectors work to connect this 9' rail to my existing 5' sections?

    1. Yes, the 11882 connector kit will work with the Strongway rails.
