    1. There is no fixed distance as it will depend on the water pressure.

    1. This fan has a 10' water connection tube with a 3/4"-14 threaded water connector. If a standard garden hose is preferred to supply the fan with water, an adapter like item 359323 would be needed.

  3. Can this fan be mounted outsider and not under a roof?

    1. This misting fan is rated for outdoor use. While it does not require a roof overhead, a roof could protect it from other elements and prolong its life.

    1. This fan has 3 forward speeds that can be adjusted with the pull chain. It does not have a reverse speed option.

  6. What is the water connector?  Does it connect to a regular garden hose?

    1. The water connector has 3/4"-14 external threads. The taper is different than a standard garden hose, so it would not connect without an adapter. Item 359323 could be used to adapt this to a garden hose with a 3/4" NPT fitting.

  7. If I fabricate a mount to hang fan pointing down (like a ceiling fan) will it harm the fan in any way?

    1. The fan can be mounted facing down with a fabricated mount as long as the fan has a minimum 12 inches of clearance from the ceiling to the fan blade. The ceiling needs to be finished without any exposed insulation or loose debris.

  8. is there a way to turn the mister off and just have the fan running?

    1. This fan is equipped with a switch that can be opened to turn on the misting function and closed to turn off the misting function.
